About this course ...
Aims
Leaders in FE need to plan strategies, devise plans and allocate resources in such a way that the college digital environments and services meet the needs and manage the expectations of digital learners. We hope that as a result of your participation in the course, you will go on to make better decisions for your college in an environment of increasing digital dependence and in response to rising student expectations of their digital learning experience. The course will not train you to implement specific digital solutions, but will encourage you to use digital tools appropriate to your own professional development.
What to expect
The course will be based around webinars and online resources and will follow an action learning approach. This means that you will consider real challenges and begin to formulate real solutions for your college with the support of other leaders and decision makers. The main feature of the course will be webinars where speakers from colleges who have embraced digital technologies will share their experiences, and you will have the opportunity to engage with a supportive network of college leaders who can help you turn plans into practical actions, and to present your findings and your learning.
