The University of Bedfordshire wishes to appoint two experienced Educational Developers to join the Centre for Learning Excellence.
The post-holders will work closely with academic teams to address University strategic plans and faculty targets, helping the University drive the adoption of innovative teaching approaches which engage students through both face to face scheduled activities and blended online activities. The post-holders will be key to our on-going work around CRe8 (the Curriculum Review 2008), which articulates our approach to creating an environment which supports effective teaching and learning (http://www.beds.ac.uk/learning/course-design/cre8).
This post requires a practical mixture of both technical and pedagogical skills. The post-holders will have a proven track record in supporting staff in the design, development and implementation of engaging and active curriculum approaches. The post-holder will have the ability to work with colleagues in a variety of disciplines, motivating colleagues and team members, and will have a high degree of written and oral fluency, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work across university sites.
