With a detailed knowledge of effective HE teaching, a commitment to widening participation and with a proven record of supporting colleagues to enhance their teaching practice, the Head of Teaching and Learning will help ensure that the University remains at the forefront of sectoral best practice and is well-prepared to respond to the TEF.
She or he will manage a team who work with students, academics and others to help ensure that all students receive a high quality learning experience. Responsibilities include oversight of the University's Professional Teaching Scheme, leading and contributing to the development of institutional policies and procedures, and facilitating workshops and events.
