Salary from £34,156 to £41,317 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,456 pa inclusive

 

Salary is competitive and not less than £34,156 pa inclusive

 

This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months

 

The University of London's International Programmes (UoLIP) is the world's original distance learning programme which, to-date, has produced many global leaders in business and government including seven Nobel Prize winners. The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) offers a series of degree programmes through UoLIP across Economics, Management, Finance and the Social Sciences, with over 20,000 students across the globe currently studying on these programmes.

 

The UoLIP office at LSE is undertaking a redevelopment of its programme delivery to ensure that these world-class courses keep pace with continuing developments in learning technology. We require an experienced learning technologist with an innovative outlook and a flexible approach to develop and manage online resources for this initiative.

 

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have experience working in the field of learning technology in a Higher Education or similar context: in particular, experience working with academic staff to create online educational resources. They will have significant experience in the administration of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), and experience in the evaluation of the effectiveness of online learning materials and processes. Effective communication, service delivery and problem-solving skills are all essential.
