Research In Learning Technology - journal transition in progress

Members of ALT may be aware that Co-Action Publishing AB, the publisher of our Open Access journal, Research in Learning Technology, is joining the Taylor & Francis Group this month.

Read the full announcement in the Co-Action website.

In the short term this transition will have a direct impact on all aspects of the journal’s operation. We will do our best to provide clear and timely updates to the Editorial Board and Editors, Authors and Readers as information becomes available.

Yet the transition is not a small undertaking and there might be delays and interruptions that are unavoidable. We ask for your understanding during this time. If you do have any comments, feedback or questions, please contact us directly.

Readers

The main change for Readers is that current and archive materials are moving from the current website to Taylor & Francis online. The Journal will continue to be available as an Open Access journal and the full archive of articles will transition. During the transition period articles may be unavailable for short periods and it is likely to take some time for links to be redirected to the new journal website.

Authors

Authors should be aware that there will be minor changes to the submission guidelines for the journal, including the referencing format. These will be published on the new submission system. If you are trying to submit an article for publication in late December, you might find that the system is unavailable for short periods.

Authors who have already submitted manuscripts will be contacted directly and notified regarding the transition. We will do our best to avoid delays in the review or production process and will keep you up to date.

Editors and Editorial Board

The governance and editorial leadership of the journal will not change. Members of the Editorial Board and Editors will receive transition information as it becomes available and training for the new journal system.
