We have a new opportunity for a Senior Learning technologist to join our Education Innovation Team within the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences.
The Education Innovation Team is an academic support team that works in partnership with students, staff and external stakeholders undertaking digitally inflected learning and teaching activity. Our work is focused on realizing the local and university wide learning and teaching strategies and fostering a culture of innovation and transformation.
The Senior Learning Technologist will provide pedagogic advice, guidance and support on the use and development of a range of digital practices and digitally enriched pedagogies. You will be expected to lead, manage and promote the application of Technology Enhanced Learning to support the faculty strategy. This is an exciting role for someone looking to progress their career in digital learning as it will be instrumental in leading and developing future facing services and practice.
To succeed in the post you will need sufficient specialist knowledge in digital learning and experience of delivering to work-based learners and have the ability to engage and inspire both staff and students to embrace learning technologies. You should also have the ability to design innovative teaching and assessment materials to support effective technology enabled student learning.
