FEATURED - Early Bird Registration open for the ALT Annual Conference 2019 - Data, Dialog, Doing, 3–5 September 2019, Edinburgh

Early bird registration is open for the ALT Annual Conference 2019 which will seek to confront and challenge established assumptions, approaches and accepted truths in relation to key dimensions of digital education. ALT Members receive a minimum of 20% discount on ALT Conference fees. If you are not already a member you can join as an Associate Member and receive the discounts if your organisation holds an Organisational Membership or join ALT as an individual member at the time of booking for only £55 and receive the membership discount. More information about the conference and registration fees is available on the ALT Annual Conference 2019 website.

NEW - Webinar Recording: Equality in Learning Technology: New insights from ALT's Annual Survey

Equality is for everyone and we all have a role to ensure that we promote equality within the field of Learning Technology. As part of this webinar Dr Maren Deepwell and Martin Hawksey explore equality as a challenge for Learning Technology professionals and discuss the new findings from ALT’s Annual Survey. NEW - Next ALT Assembly online meeting, 06 June 2019, 12:30 - 13:30

The Assembly is the overarching Member committee advising the ALT Board of Trustees. The Assembly is chaired by the President of ALT, Martin Weller, and provides greater representation for Members and in particular Member groups, in the governance of the Association. The next online  meeting of the ALT Assembly is 06 June 2019 at 12:30 BST. The event page has more information about the next meeting and instructions on how to participate.

ALT North West England Members Group meeting - #ALTNWESIG 2019, 22 May 2019, 12.30 - 16:30

The next ALTNWESIG meeting will take place at the University of Lancaster. Big thanks to Steve Powell and his team for agreeing to feed, water and accommodate us once again. This is a community-led event, created by you and for you. This ALT Scotland event will bring practitioners together from across sectors to share their experiences of strategy, practice and policy in learning technology. Join Panopto's 'Perspectives on Video in Higher Education' webinar series

Panopto is running a short series of three webinars focused on different perspectives on video in higher education. If you're interested in using video for distance learning, student recording or to enhance the accessibility of your learning resources, you should register today.
