Are you interested in a joint reflective practice presentation regarding graduate students’ learning about OER and openness? What this learning process is like from the point of view of an instructor – the observations, concerns, and celebrations that unfolds individually and collectively each time a student or class, synchronically or idiosyncratically learns about openness – whether face to face, blended or completely online environments? Join Connie Blomgren (Athabasca University), Elizabeth Childs (Royal Roads University) and Clint Lalonde (BCcampus) who will provide the point of view of such perspectives and their experience of teaching graduate students ranging from instructional designers to K-12 teachers. For more information and to register for this webinar visit the event page.
Inspired by the recent topical discussions on the diversity, complexity and uniqueness of learning technologist roles, whether that be in your title or not, but involves these duties. Simon Thomson and Daniel Scott would like to invite you to share your stories of being and becoming a “learning technologist”. Simon and Daniel have created a short questionnaire to capture your stories. Simon and Daniel will pull together your stories and present them as public blog posts on the #ALTC Blog. To contribute complete the short questionnaire.
