The title for this year’s conference is Data, Dialogue, Doing and the draft programme has now been published! Visit the Programme page to start exploring all the conference session titles and descriptions (the programme is still subject to minor changes).
We are excited to have another packed programme, featuring over 150 sessions covering all aspects of learning technology, it is sure to provide an inspiring and engaging three days.

The voting to elect two new Trustees opened on 8 July 2019. The election will be carried out for ALT by the Electoral Reform Services. Eligible Members will receive voting instructions via email and any members eligible to vote twice, as individual members and representatives of member organisations, will receive two emails. Voting closes at 12:00 noon on 20 August 2019. The candidates are: Natalie Lafferty, Sharon Flynn, Maha Bali, Jonathan Worth, Lyshi Soloman, Rosie Hare, Thom Cochrane and Rich Goodman. Â
We are seeking experienced Co-Chairs for the 2020 ALT Annual Conference Committee. The Co-Chairs will play a major role in planning and delivery of the conference in 2020.

The University of Lincoln, following a year of trialling Talis Elevate, have now purchased a site licence for three years. They had been an engaged participant in the pilot, with 8 academics using Talis Elevate in 2 disciplines over the 12 month period. We asked Jasper Shotts, Dean of Lincoln Academy of Learning and Teaching to share a bit about his experience of using Talis Elevate during the pilot phase, and plans for the future with Talis Elevate. We also spoke to Ian Snowley, Dean of Student Learning Development and University Librarian at the University of Lincoln to find out more about how Talis Elevate fits into the university’s strategy. The Office for Students is surveying universities as part of a "review of models of support for disabled students". (The survey is being carried out by the Institute for Employment Studies on behalf of the OfS). The survey has been sent out to heads of student service and heads of disability support. If your colleagues haven't shared the survey with you yet, please contact them and inquire about it.
Applications are now open for the relaunched MSc Blended and Online Education, which is a part-time, fully online programme for educational professionals seeking to develop their critical understanding and skills in the area of teaching and learning with technology.
