Established in 2007, the ALT Learning Technologist of the Year Awards celebrate and reward excellent practice and outstanding achievement in the Learning Technology field, and aim to promote intelligent use of Learning Technology.
This year’s Awards are proudly sponsored by Edina and the judges’ choices for Individual, Team and Research project awards will be announced at the Awards ceremony at the Annual Conference on the 04 September. We are also giving everyone the opportunity to vote from the judges shortlisted finalists to select this year’s Community Choice award. Find out who the finalists are and cast your vote.

The ICDE World Conference on Online Learning takes place in Dublin at the start of November (3-7). With over 600 paper submissions and delegates already registered from over 50 countries, Dublin is the place to be in November 2019 if you want to help shape the global future of online learning. There is still time to contribute a late paper to this event, including submission of virtual papers, but you will have to be quick! ucisa is hosting a one-day seminar to brief senior IT staff on their role in responding to the legislation, to discuss the challenges, and to hear about approaches of their peers. This event will include presentations from key stakeholders such as Government Digital Services, Jisc and accessibility experts, as well as from IT managers in the sector who have led on institutional responses.
